This year's AGM will be held in the Corn Exchange at 2.30pm A swift AGM will be followed by a talk by David Dalton on "Life as an Author". David is a qualified mining engineer who started writing after retirement. He will start by telling the audience how and why he became a writer. This will be followed by his experience as a freelance journalist in Cape Town and how this led to his first few books. Refreshments available after the talk. All members welcome to attend, but visitors must pay £1.50 .

An application for pruning the hawthorn by the reading room will be done shortly – this has been in liaison with Richard May Badbury Potholes in carpark will be filled in shortly once the weather clears up and we are looking into dog waste bins at the moment. New Ranger Joe Mayled has started, and also has a new volunteer group with him on Tuesday’s. Great Coxwell Barn The north barn doors will be having repairs over the coming weeks as the frame has become loose. This will be done by the National Trust estate building team. We understand three fires were reported to police Tuesday night 20th March, on land behind the Chowle Farm Estate. Does anyone have any info about this? If so please contact newsletter or the police.
Anna Snesar and Lynette are performing two concerts at the end of April. The first will be at Buscot Park Theatre, as shown on the poster. We will repeat this concert the following day (Sunday, 29th) at Stonevale at the usual time of 4 pm.
