All women welcome. Tuesday, 18th October – Our Annual Open Day.
This will be held in the Faringdon Corn Exchange between 10.00 and 12.00. It offers everyone, old and new, the opportunity to learn about U3A, to learn about the different groups, to speak to their Group Leaders, to meet other people and to join up if interested. All will be made most welcome so do encourage anyone who is interested to come along. Refreshments will be available. Thursday 20th October October’s talk is by Ron Colyer who will talk about “Living and working in Turkey in the 1960s”. Ron is a former lecturer at Shrivenham; he now leads our own Science and Technology U3A group. Venue is the Corn Exchange at 2.30pm. Refreshments are available after the talk which is free to all members but visitors are required to contribute £1.50 to U3A.
