Stonevale Concert with Sebastian Mueller and Lynette Stulting .MOV
For those who asked me if they could have a recording. Here is a shorter version.
Stonevale Concert with Sebastian Mueller and Lynette Stulting .MOV Dear friends,
Sebastian Muller and I are happy to announce that we will once again be part of the Great Barn Festival in Great Coxwell. As some of you know, we played in the barn for the past two years, and it was an amazing setting. However, we were quite limited in our choice of repertoire, because the space is very big and the acoustics are quite dry so we could not really indulge in the Romantic repertoire. We decided to change our venue this year to St Giles' Church, and it will still be part of the Great Barn Festival. Now we can at last play the Franck Sonata for Violin and Piano, the ideal piece for this acoustics. Some of you might know this work, one of the most beautiful sonatas written for violin and piano. The second half of the programme will included some selected works by Kreisler. Tickets are now on sale and for any enquiries, please email Ainslie Williams at [email protected] Full details here. Hope to see you there, Lynette Dear all,
Apologies, I should have sent this out already last week, but time has flown too quickly. Many of you know already about the concert, as the details were in the last programme. This will be another fabulous concert looking at the wonderful biographies of these two performers. Best wishes, Lynette Click here for details. Dear all,
Gill Crossland has never been to Stonevale before, and hopefully this will be the first of several! For more information or to have a taste of what you will experience, click on the link. And clearly, book seats quickly. Best wishes, Lynette http://www.jillcrossland.org/ Dear all,
After a long time of no concerts at Stonevale, we have our second one of the month, this Sunday 7th May, at 4 pm. This will be a very special concert, featuring some of Abingdon School's talented young musicians. Seats are already going, so be quick in reserving yours, we were full capacity with the last one, and this one is going the same way. Full details here. Best wishes Lynette Dear all,
The next Stonevale concert will be part of the Barn Festival again, like last year. It will be on Sunday, September 18 at 11 am. Please follow the link below to purchase tickets for this concert. I am moving my Yamaha grand piano to the barn again and will be doing a violin recital with the amazing violinist, Sebastian Mueller. Sebastian will be flying in from Vienna, especially for this concert. The acoustics in the barn is fantastic for this type of recital, we had a wonderful audience last year, although there were limited space then because of Covid. We can take more people this year, and we really hope we can fill the barn. With best wishes, Lynette https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/d/united-kingdom--abingdon/stonevale/ Dear all,
Please find the flyer for our next concert at Stonevale. It is always wonderful to hear and support the young and upcoming pianists. Tuna Dyonmez just turned 17 and has already proved to be extremely successful in the music world. We are so pleased that the concerts are back up and so well-attended, so make sure you book your seats early. Best wishes, Lynette Dear all,
Please find the flyer for our next concert. It is really wonderful to have Aleksei Demchenko back, especially under these circumstances. The plan is to livestream this concert as well. Understandably there has been a lot of interest in this one, so make sure you book a seat. Best wishes, Lynette Dear all,
Here is the flyer for our next concert and as before, you can read Simon and Jude's biographies here. This is really exciting, as this will be our first jazz concert here at Stonevale. We had a full house at the last concert, so make sure you book your seat. Covid made people realise how empty our lives are without live concerts. Best wishes, Lynette The next Stonevale Concert will be on Sunday, 13th February at 4 - Osman Tack (piano).
